Creating your own ring tones when you do not have Internet access, or really slow internet access may Tricky but not impossible. In this article, I'll show you how.
First, there are several things to note:
You will need Internet access time to download some software, but if re-read it from the internet, I m going to assume that not a problem.
You ll have to transfer your phone ringing tones from the computer, via USB cable, Bluetooth, memory card, etc.
Plan I m going to show you how to use it only can do MP3, wav, and OGG files. If your phone won t play these formats, you ll get a different conversion tool download.
To get started you need to download and install the 2 free programs: Audacity of Audacity and lame. (I wrote this guide using Audacity 1,2.6. If you use a different version, the process may differ.)
Go to audacity.sourceforge.net and click Download Audacity 1,2.6.
Select your operating system, click 1,2.6 Kisakinishi Audacity download files.
Return to the download page from step 2 and click the lame MP3 encoder.
Click paralyzed Download Page link.
a. For Windows, download Lame_v3, 98.2 _for_Audacity_on_Windows.exe file.b. In March, Lame_Library_v3, 98.2 _for_Audacity_on_OSX.dmg download files.
Install Audacity, and then install the file you downloaded paralyzed.
Open Audacity and click File, then select > Open your source file. (If you use either ve equipment online from Section 2 of this article, it should look familiar.)
Click the start point estimates ringtone you want to create, and Drag around the end point. This will highlight the selected. You can Drag and click the start and end points change your selection. You also can press the play button to listen to the highlighted section.
(optional) If you want to show some effects, you can do so by choosing one of the effects menu.
Once again happy with your choice of effects, > click Edit Copy.
> Click File New. This will open a new blank window.
In the new window, click Edit > PASTE. You can play with journalists to ensure the right size yet.
Click on Edit then select Preferences from the File Format tab >.
(Note: You only do this step first time using Audacity. After that will remember where the library is paralyzed. If you ve already done this step once, skip step 15.) In the section labeled MP3 Export Setup button click Find Library. The message will appear, click Yes and then browse to the location where you install paralyzed in 6 steps. (Windows default location is: C: Program FilesLame for Audacity. March is the default location / usr / local / lib / courage)
In the section labeled MP3 Export Setup, select the desired bitrate quality from the drop-down menu. Click OK.
> Click File Export as MP3 and choose the area to keep the phone ringing tone.
Use your phone's software or memory card to transfer files to your phone.
Select the files you have created a ringing tone, on your phone, setting.
That's all there. But the only way you re going to know how much fun it is to try to be myself. So please try!
